BIOGRAFIA

Marta Guimarães, original de Penafiel, ingressou em 2007 no Curso Profissional de Fotografia ministrado pelo Instituto Português de Fotografia do Porto.

Desde então, devido ao desenvolvimento de trabalhos, pessoais e profissionais, de cariz multidisciplinar, foi crescendo enquanto fotógrafa.

Em 2013 mudou-se de Portugal para a Finlândia e, durante o tempo em que lá permaneceu, cria uma linguagem fotográfica única e pessoal, tornando ainda mais pura e evidente a sua principal característica - a capacidade de captar o momento enquanto cria uma relação aberta e íntima com o objecto fotografado.

Marta Guimarães, originally from Penafiel, started her Photography Course at the Portuguese Institute for Photography, Porto, in 2007.

Since then she has been growing as a photographer by developing personal and professional multidisciplinary work.

In 2013 she moved from Portugal to Finland and the time she spent there helped her to create a unique and personal photographic language, making her main skill even more pure and evident - the ability to catch the moment while creating an openness and intimacy with the subject photographed.
